Project management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to ensure projects meet specifications, budget, and time objectives in varying constraints. PMAN believes that a key way to promote development in Nepal is to initiate and implement best project management practices and to ensure project management is recognized as a professional discipline. Successful assurance that more of Nepal's countless, civil service, non-profit, and corporate projects end with a quality output within budget and expected timeline is vital to the national competency to reduce poverty while empowering and educating citizens, improving resource management, and modernizing industries.

Thus, our mission is "to be the central authority for the promotion of effective project management practices and to advance the academy and profession of project management for public benefit in Nepal through maintaining project excellence."
